After setting up the vbb 2.2.1 forum, I was testing it with my friend. Actually, we were testing the smiley's, when we run into this.
We both use IE (6) to surf the site, and everything is ok. When we wanted to test how it looked for someone who isn't logged in, we just used another browser: mozilla 0.9.7 (with same or different username logged in, so we could post).
When posting or replying to a post, mozilla hangs after pressing 'submit' button. Nothing happens.
If we refresh the thread in the other browser (ie6) it isn't added yet.
Then, if we cancell the mozilla one, and check back in ie6 again, the post got added 100%.
My friend mentioned it to me, and I tested it too. And had the same problem. That is why I thought it might be worth mentioning.
I am almost possitive that it isn't a bug from vbb, but more a incompatible mozilla .. (its in beta stage afterall).
I have my mozilla version installed without java support. But. .. posting with vbb doesn't require java for the submit right? ..
