Changing a user's userid

How could I safely change a user's userid? I know I can't just edit the userid through phpMyAdmin...what else would I have to do?

Those tables all reference user IDs of normal users.

So unless you have a burning reason why to change it, I would suggest looking for alternatives. Not saying it's not doable, just it would be fairly intensive.

and for some more entertainment, the private message has "userid","touserid","fromuserid".. post has "userid" as well as "edituserid".. not sure if any of the others have extra userid fields (can't remember off the top of my head).. but yeah.. it can definitely be done.. i did it
