    Just listed on Dmoz.org

I, am needless to say very happy that my site was just added to the Dmoz.org Open Directory Project. And now if you click on the following link, vbulletin is paid some homage

look at what it says next to baddealings.com

    Thanks VB

Thanks, it took a while, but after I e-mailed the editor today, I was added in a minute. For some reason, I knew that you'd respond to this thread eva, oh wait you respond to every thread.

It seems that the search engines are dropping it in favor of looksmart (they get paid for that i guess) which is a shame. I still use dmoz.com for search 1st and then google 2nd. Yahoo i don't use on principle knowing how hard it is to get a site in!

Dmoz entries will get propgated to Aol and Netscape search so it is still important.

Don't feel bad I have never heard of anipike.com so you didn't lose a hit from me by not being listed there.

The nice thing about dmoz, is that alot of targeted websites use there information for there link listing, i may only recive 5 - 10 people a month from dmoz, but i get about 50 - 75 from sites that use the dmoz database, and not the big sites like aol / go, but the small specialty sites.

Anyhow, congrats on the listing, and for some odd reason, i have never had a problem with getting listed in yahoo, of the 7 sites i tried to list, 6 got listed in under a month. You just need to find the right category, dont hype your site, and tripple check everything. (it dosent hurt to add "Thank you for your time, and I love yahoo!" in the comments box
