I had a mod on my site who turned out to be very troublesome, and had to be removed. Quick question: my server access logs indicate that I'm one of the users he attempted to ban from the site (he banned lots of non-troublesome users, to wreak as much havoc as possible on the forums - so I had to restore my database from my daily database backup, recently). His banning attempt didn't work; I was able to log on to the site later that day (I didn't even realize until just now, a few weeks later, that I was one of the people he tried to ban.)
There must be a safeguard in place to prevent a regular mod (not a "super moderator") from banning the admin - correct? Or is it actually possible for a mod to somehow ban the admin? If so, how can I prevent this from occurring?
