I have big Problems with vBB 2.0 final

I have a dedicated server with
    - Pentium III 600 MHz
    - Unix
    - 128 KB cache
    - 64 MB RAM
    - 30 GB ATA/100
    - 100 MBps Bay Networks Ethernet Card

Since 01.01.2001 runs my vBB 1.1.x perfect. I have 15.000 visitors/day and 200 visitors at once

Now i update my vBB to 2.0 final and it crashes over and over again when more that 30 visitors at once are on it.

    - I tried to set the "persistant connections" in config.php to "0"
    - The PM's are disabled
    - The forumjumps are disabled.
    - The avatars are disabled
    - Calendar disabled
    - html disabled
    - Birthdays disabled

I am dissperate... What should I do more ?
    Thanks for your help.

64 MB of RAM?!?! Yikes. That's the reason right there.

This is just my opinion, but I wouldn't have less than 128. If you can afford it, go 256.

Ram is so cheap now why not just get more. Heck right now you can get some good crucial ram cheap with free 2 day shipping.

Click something in the box at right and get 15% off At around 60-$65 for a 256mb stick, why not get some.

Windows 2000 on a home PC can't even cope well with 64MB of RAM, let alone a server that's trying to handle an extremely demanding database.

I am running a dell poweredge that handles everything. 256 MB of ECC PC133 was the bare minimum.

I know that RAM is cheap at the Moment, but my Server is by CI Host http://www.cihost.com/?zone=products...d_hosting_unix , and they want $75/month and $50/setup for 256 extra RAM.

That is over my budget :-/
