How to Downgrade a UBB

This is kind of a presaes question - anyway, before I move to vBulletin, I need to downgrade my UBB to version 6.2.0, I asked infopop how to do so, and this is their reply:

Yes it could be done, but we do not assist our customers in doing so, especially when they want to go to a competitors products. I'm sure you can understand our position... I think most, if not all companies would have the same policy!

So, can any of you help me?

Actually I'd be more than happy to downgrade your UBB 6.2.0 if I knew how. You best bet is probably to wait for JamesUS to finish the UBB 6.3.0 import script.

Nope, I have not purchased one yet. I'm not going to purchase one until I can get a clear answer as to how IM going to import all my files.

My host is REALLY pressing me to do get off the UBB tho =/

Well unfortunately the answer is the same as before, the import is still being worked on and tested. I believe JamesUS is currnely testing this with a couple of customers. He needs to hear back from them before knowing if this is working or not. I'll write him and ask him to check in on this. Until then we just have to wait. Sorry!

Its okay, I think I can wait a LITTLE longer... things will be slow at the UBB tho =/

I'm sure James and the team and working to deliever this to you at the first available time.

They will not release it until they are certain that it is ready. It would be unwise for anyone to release anything that had not be properly tested etc.
