    Poll OTT

I placed a poll on my forums for the 1st time and I have discovered a problem. The poll table is way to far to the right, in fact its 3 or more times the with of the forum itself.

    Also the percentage is wrong.

I have a group of 6 questions and only received 2 answers for the same question so the percentage should be 100% and the rest 0%

The 0% are correct but the 100% is showing 10000% for some reason?

A link to the poll is here http://www.tech-tronix.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=17459

    Any ideas?

Have you installed any hacks (including portals) or added any code to the headinclude, header or phpinclude templates?

I have 3 templates installed but only use one. One of them is the default VB template and its also showing up way to far in that basic template as well.

back to this problem again! I've had this problem for over a month, and posted about it several times.. but I have been using a hacked version of vb 3.0. I've finally just upgraded to vbulletin 3.03 completely unhacked and back to the standard template, and the problem is still there!!

So does this make it a file problem and not a template problem?

Seems to have been caused by a PHP upgrade...?

I had this problem on my own site. I corrected it by doing the following:

Admin CP --> Languages & Phrases --> Language Manager --> [Edit Settings] --> Number Formatting

Make sure that you have a decimal point and comma set! (I didn't have this set and this was the cause of the problem)

Glad that solved the problem I was screaming at my computer to figure out why it wasn't working and then I checked the language settings and there it was! I'm not sure why it went away, though.

To tell you the truth this is the first time I've ever heard of this problem and how this fix. Sorry that my lack of total mastery over everything vB-related has caused you to doubt us. However if that's your criteria, then I am bound to disappoint you again sometime in the future.

                              For what it's worth...

This problem was vexing me for a while -- and it was related to a php upgrade issue. I was running php 4.3.6 on my development system (where the polls didn't have the math and display problem), but the production system was running php 4.3.11 and it did have this problem.

Once I upgraded my dev system to 4.3.11, the poll problem was suddenly there too. (how many times do I have to learn that I should never have dev and production systems out of sync in any way. DOH!)
