If the .htaccess with AcceptPathInfo causes an internal server error then your Apache is set to not allow that option. You would need to follow the steps found later in the thread about changing Apache to allow it.

but whats the change why now does it do this and from beta1 to RC2 its been fine... and also not everyone will be able to change the php like me what are you to say to them they are not allowed the archive ?
im not having a go im just being practical and the archive however small some might think, to me its like after the forum the most important feature !

I would guess your host changed something in their configuration. The archive did not change from RC2 to RC3 and in RC4 the only change was to the copyright text in the file.Comment

and iw ill mail my host now and ask if they have changed the apache config
but i dont think anything has been changed, but i hope i am wrong
