    Weird Error Messages

    I have just made a fresh install of vBulletin, and I'm getting several error messages. When I visit the forum that the installation installs by default I get the following:

    Parse error: parse error, expecting `']'' in /home/rockforc/public_html/blueleaves/forum/includes/functions_forumdisplay.php on line 313

    When in the AdminCP I get:

    Warning: Unterminated comment starting line 283 in /home/rockforc/public_html/blueleaves/forum/includes/adminfunctions_options.php on line 283

    Please help

      Reupload all the files in your 'includes' directory. Make sure you upload in ASCII and overwrite the ones on the server.

      Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

        I already did that last night (from the suggestion of Faranth) but nothing changed . I will go try again and see if anything changes.

          I have now re-uploaded all of the Includes folder in ASCII, and the error messages still go up. If you would like to take a look yourself, go to http://blueleaves.net/forum/

          Thanks

            Here's what should be on line 313 in functions_forumdisplay.php:

            $thread['showpagenav'] = false;

            Is that what your shows?

            Also you can try using the 'Find Updated Templates' fincition in the Style Manage and revert any templates it finds.

              Thats the same as in my line 313, and I tried to revert all templates but it told me there were none to revert. Any other suggestions? :-/ :-/

                Thank you all for your help. The problem has been resolved . It turned out that the FTP Client I was using (Coffeecup Free FTP) was the culprit. I re-uploaded using WS_FTP and it now works fine . Sorry about that, Steve.

                  So it wasn't uploading in ASCII as I originally thought.
