How to point the IMG tags to a path on my domain?

Is it possible to edit the IMG tags, such that they'll always point to a path on my own domain?

For example, if someone types this:
    [ IMG] myfile.gif [ /IMG]

Then, it points to this URL:
    http :// www. mydomain. com/ myfolder/ myfile.gif

    Possible?
    If yes, then how?
    Thanks,
    Still Waters

No - at least not without hacking. You will need to use the full URL.

Follow-up question, please. Is it possible to create a custom vB code that will accomplish what I'm requesting? If yes, what code should I place in it? Thanks.
        Thanks,
        Still Waters

I believe that is beyond the scope of what a vB code can do.

If it's a local file, making a code that does <img src="{param}" border="0" alt=""> theoretically SHOULD link to that file. Whether it actually does or not is anybody's guess. Of course, people will have to use http:// before non-local files with that vBcode, but such is the way things go.

Is this valid for a vB code?

              <img src="http://www.mydomain.com/{param}" border="0" alt="">

... where {param} is the filename.

The quickest way to find out is try it and see if it works.

Well, that was an excellent suggestion. Yes, it works! This accomplishes what I requested -- without even having to hack my board. Thanks, Steve and Aaron.
