easy Q changing text font size

Easy question

how to change the font size of text in my forum just the posts text?
I tried the style manager and main css
I changed the font in body
but don't see any change!

You just simple do the following.
Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> All Style Options -> [Go] -> Input Fields -> Standard CSS Attributes -> Input Fields : 1.2em

and or

Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> Edit Template -> postbit and or postbit_legacy

# find in template: postbit / _legacy
# add style font size attribute to code

I changed the font to 20pt to see but it did not change anything
I prefer to use your first option any Idea

Use the second one, as the first one is to increase font size within input fields and will not transpose its self to post.

The .body class for fonts is in Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> All Style Options -> Body -> Standard CSS Attributes -> Font Size: [??]

This will have some unusual affects to .pagebackground and do not know why it causes the space to increase.

I am having a similar issue. The template that I purchased has a very small font and some of my members are complaining. I searched out this thread, and your advice helped with changing the size of the post font. I used the second method you mentioned, and altered my postbit template. I am still unsure what the CSS modifications do, as compared to the postbit modifications. I am interested in the overall font of my forum being slightly larger (posts, signatures, thread names, forum names, currently active users, etc. Would the CSS be the place to accomplish this? What adverse effects are you speaking of.

Anyway, if there isn't a quick solution to changing the overall font size, could you please point me in the right direction to increase the size of my forum names and thread titles?
