Is there a way I can let the users on the forum block a user and all his posts? or block getting posts made in one particular section on the forum which checking new posts?

User's can ignore other individuals by viewing their public profile. You can globally ignore someone using the Tachy Goes to Coventry feature under vBulletin Options -> User Banning Options.

If you want to moderate a user's posts, put him a usergroup where "Follow Forum Moderation Rules" is set to No.

Yeah. I found that option Tachy Goes to Coventry but this option blocks the user posts for guests (and that means search engine spiders)...

any way i can get the posts from the blocked user visible to guests and serps? the posts are basically syndicated stories from a sister site and the forum members do not want to see them clutter the forum...

That would require an addon from vBulletin.org.

widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
