    Promtions / Permissions Help

Trying to get this to work with vBA Gallery but Im sure this works the same way with other features in the same way. I posted over at photopost but no help.

    Anyways.....

Trying to make the gallery locked unless you have 5 or more posts. How can I do this with the promotions.

vBa Gallery >Usergroup Permissions > Registered Users > Everything Set to No.

I made a New Usergroup called "Picture Access" Made my setting the way I would like them. Then I made a "promotion" with the following setting.
    Greater or equal to
    Rep Level - 0
    Days Registered - 1
    Posts - 5
    Promotion Strategy - Posts
    Promotion Type - Additional Usergroup
Move User to Usergroup - Picture Access

Members are still able to access the gallery though. What am I missing ?

Sorry, we can't provide support for third party scripts.
I recommend you post on the photopost/vBAGallery support forums.

Yes, the promotion is correct, you'll have to check if the problem is with vBA Gallery or not.
Check one of the users with less than 5 posts and see if he is in the 'Picture Access' usergroup.
If he is, let me know, and we'll figure out what's wrong.
If he's not, the vBA Gallery permissions are set incorrectly.

So I leave the "registered users" as primary and just add the promotions as a secondary with a new usergroup name ?

I dont have to go into catagory permissions and do each of those seperately do I?

Yes, set the 'Picture Access' as a secondary usergroup which gets added by the promotion.

That'd mean that 1545 users have more than 5 posts, is that correct?

Then mass move them all out of that usergroup, and see if the promotion promotes them all into it again.

                        Yes, that's what I mean.

To move users, go to your

AdminCP -> Users -> Prune / Move Users

On the Registered Members usergroup the default group. When I try to do a mass move the 1500+ users show up. When I try to view the "Photo Access" usergroup no one shows up. That mean my promotions arent working correctly ?
