This isn't really a technical question as much as it is me complaning about HostClear.com at the moment, I just had to share this...
I got this email this mornign:
Essentially the email subject AOL claimed as spam was "2011 calendars for sale!" this isn't a very big forum, and those that opt into the email responses will obviously get emails when there is a reply to that thread since their last visit.
I'm in shock that my host actually removed permissions to index.php because AOL complained it is a spam script. That's unreal to me. More so when I complained about it, they suggested I change email passwords, blah blah, try buying their spam assasin - um not going to help, everything is working just fine, except AOL, and apparently HostClear, are fracking idiots.
I re-uploaded the file from a backup and asked for a customer support rep to contact me tomorrow as I find this absolutely unacceptable behavior for a host...
Just curious if anyone else has seen something like this happen. I'm thankful I keep local backups, but angry I had to use them.
