    [CMS] Can't Log In

What should I do? I can login through fb login but can't login through regular vb login. I'm getting messages all the time about members not being able to login. Am I the only person having this issue?

I'm assuming something I did messed up the logins because I'm sure a login problem would be top priority?

    Thanks
    Eric

Can you go directly to your admincp and login? If so, create a new style with no parent:
      • Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
      • Parent Style: No Parent Style
      • Title: Default vBulletin
      • Allow User Selection: Yes
      • Save

Set this as the default style (vboptions > styles > default style) and then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

Thank you that worked. and now I switched back to the style I normally use and it's working on that also.

        Thanks,
        Eric

          Hi,

Just updated to 4.08. Erased all my old styles and created a new one. I'm back to the same problem as before, light on light, in my login box. I created default style and it looks fine.

Any suggestions on how to fix it?

I checked your with with both styles and they look fine. Did you fix this?

              Hi,

Nope! Just checked and it's still clear on clear. Did you try to type something in? When you first go on the site you can see "username" and "password" but when you try to type is clear on clear.

              Thanks,
              Eric

Sorry, should have checked this. It works fine on the 'Default Style' as per Lynne's instructions. There is an issue with your custom Dark style, although it's a light grey on a white background..

                  Thanks,

I actually started a thread not too long ago about having the same problem using the halloween theme on this site. Anyone know of a way to change the grey to black?

                  Thanks,
                  Eric

Check out ".toplinks form input.textbox" in your CSS. It's a real like gray.

                      Hi,

I'm a little lost here. I go into style manager, then where?

                      Thanks,
                      Eric

Do a Search in Templates for it - .toplinks form input.textbox You'll then see what sets the color.
