I have tried multiple test conversions and always end up with the same results. One of the results is that the quotes from IPB 3.1 now show the bb coding and not any actual quote graphics. Here is an actual edited sample that shows on the forum:
~snip quote content~
Which also shows the other problem. The '.
Here is an actual post after the conversion:
I'm aware of who does and doesn't participate in this forum. And there are times I don't expect many answers. But the times I do, seem to be the times nothing happens.
<<<< ' is the common theme on most posts and in random places. Normal posts and threads as well as quotes. Those symbols and numbers have no rhyme or reason.
Any ideas? I have done everything from making sure hooks and such are disabled on the IPB installation prior to conversion, as well as rebuilding the VB posts. I'm at a loss.
Edit: I'm looking at the IPB phpmyadmin sql stuff and see it scattered all over there too for no particular reason. Odd. O_o. So I'm not sure what exactly is causing this. The quotes might fix themselves if this can get resolved.
