On the front page of your Admin CP should be a notice telling you that you need to add in the Facebook Application ID in vboptions > Facebook Options. Have you guys done this?

yep, I have done this as well. I've already been able to link my account, login, use the like and publish functions, so I know it's set up right. I just don't get any response from the button when I'm in the CMS section. Forum & Blog work.Comment

I found the culprit. I had a widget which was loading this pretty little facebook 'like' application so that people could easily join my facebook page as well.
So I guess the question now is does anybody know how to load this onto your site without causing this conflict? Here is the code I was using to do it.
<center><script type="text/javascript" src="http://static.ak.connect.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php/en_US"></script><script type="text/javascript">FB.init("7ce9caee3eb683668cb467d74a35685d");</script><fb:fan profile_id="259097177837" stream="" connections="8" width="250"></fb:fan></center>Comment

Quick update, for those who had trouble. Make sure your Facebook Secret ID is updated. Also, I deleted any Facebook connect apps I had working on the site previously.
Mine works for the most part. On my template, I'm missing the Facebook Connect icon -- I've reverted all templates, but it's not there. It does appear on the default.
When I'm in the default vB, everything is working as advertised.Comment

You need to make sure to update your templates - especially the headinclude and the footer.

1) Make sure you enter the new Application ID in vboptions > Facebook Options
2) Make sure you revert/update their templates, especially the headinclude and footer template
3) If you look in the source code and see this:
Code:meta property="fb:app_id" content="" /
edit: I had to remove the < > around the meta tag cuz vB doesn't like it.
