[CMS] A new bug discovered in vBulletin 4.0.2 Patch Level 1?

I am not sure if this issue is related to vBulletin 4.0.2 Patch Level 1 but the problem started after this upgrade. However, it could be caused by vBSEO. Both these installations were made at the same time.

Now to the problem. Something is wrong with comments in articles. When someone posting a comment it is automatically marked as deleted. However, the comment is visible but when trying to edit or reply it, it says that the topic does not exist. This problem only affects articles published after February 22.

Are threads being created for these articles in the cms articles forum? Can users read these threads?

Could be I have the same problem: When we publish new articles no comments are being created. It seems like the comments are switched off for this article. Also the subnavigation is away (same in your forums.)

I have also installed vbseo - latest version. But I just tested the issue by switching vbseo off and it doesn't change anything.

Yes, threads are being created for these articles in the cms articles forum. I have checked the permissions and registered users can view and post in this forum section, however it is not visible.

Yes, please report this bug! Point to this thread in the bug.

It does look like things are a bit different between the two of you. It is creating threads for one of you, but not the other. still, the end result is you can't see the comments.

I have found a solution for those articles not working. If you edit and save as "not published", and then save as "published" it works just fine. Still looks like a bug for me.

If you look at the bug report, this was the last comment:

I am unable to reproduce this problem. That doesn't mean it's not an bug, it just means I need help to reproduce and solve the problem. If someone has steps that will create this problem then please post them or PM me. If not, I need someone who's willing to let me test on a server where this is happening. If so, please PM me.

So, you may want to PM him regarding this. If he can't reproduce it, he can't do anything to fix it.
