[Forum] no image preview when image is upload to server using bbcode

i have a very big problem

with somebody attach an image file...(and it is upload to my server), there is no image preview...only text

attached file number 39

(for example)

image preview is activate on admincp, and attached files are saved on a directory..

somebody can help me?

So you uploaded it using the asset manager and then used what code to add it to the page - [ attach ] or [ img ]? And what do you have set in vboptions > attachments > view attached images inline? and thumbnail creation?

my users (and i) just upload a image file from our pc...and thats all...

the image preview is showing when you edit your post, but not when you see it without edit it

So it sounds like you are just uploading them and not using the paperclip to insert them into the post? What do you have set in vboptions > attachments > view attached images inline?

OK, so what you want to show up is some thumbnails instead of a list of attachment names that you need to click. So, what do you have set in (sorry, to keep having to ask all of these questions) vboptions > attachments > user image lightbox? And vboptions > image settings > image processing library? And then Settings > Human Verification Manager > Image Verification Library.. there should be a couple of items to choose from (GD / ImageMagick) - do they both have images under them?

on human verification i have set Question & Answer Verification option

pd: no problem, make all question you want, i want to fix this issue..

well...lynne couldnt find the problem

well..i will make a short description of the issue...

1: i want to attach an image from my pc...all go well
2: i can view image thumbnail on the editor..without problems..
3: when i save post...thumbnail isnt showed...it only shows a link to the attached image

4: options are well configure

Update Attachment Views Immediately....yes

on attach options, view thumbnail option is turn on for ALL image types

5: i go to rebuild attachment thumbnails...and EVERY TIME I EXECUTE this action, i see this result

but wait! i have deleted Attachment 43..i dont know why system still trying to generate an attachment thumbnail for this file :S

and every time i execute this, it seems that attachment 3 to 20 doesnt have thumbnails....because i dont get Image is already <= thumbnail size message for those files
please help me to solve this..

this user seems to have my problem, but he could solve it rebuilding thumbnails .. i do that but problem still :S

I really think you should put in a support ticket regarding this issue. It is a very odd one.
