I recently upgraded my forum to vBulletin 4.0.1 from 3.8.4. Everything so far seems to work like a charm, except for permissions on the CMS. I have "Can Read" checked for registered users, but they get the classic "<username>, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:" message.
I've played around with it a little. If both "Can Read" and "Create Content" are checked, but nothing else, they still get that message. However, if "Edit Others' Content" or anything above that is checked, they CAN read the content (in addition to being able to edit the content). I tried clearing the CMS cache, repairing the node tables, and all of my custom plugins are disabled.
Any help would be appreciated!
tldr: I want my registered users to be able to read the content, but not be able to edit the content or post new articles.
