    [Forum] Problems logging in

    A lot of my memebers (including me) are having problems logging in after the upgrade to 4.0. I never had any mods and barely changes any settings since first getting the board two or three years ago. I can't login to my board at all using IE, and sometimes it doesn't work in chrome. It will say I logged in and then redirect me to the index page, but I'm still logged out. Any ideas?

    Did you change your forum's path? What are the settings of your vBulletin cookies?
    while(true){
    if(
    $someone->needsHelp() && $i->canHelp()) $post->help();
    if(
    $i->findBug()) $post->bug();
    }

        I cleared everything in IE to no avail. I tried changing the IE setting to allow all cookies to no avail. The settings are pretty standard.... 900 second timeout, path is in /forums/, cookie domain is set to (blank). I have not moved the forums. they have always been in /forums/

        I can ALWAYS log into the admin CP no problem. It's just on that index page I can't AT ALL in IE and sometimes I can't in chrome.

          Clean history in the internet options then run CCleaner. A lot of people have this issue and this has fixed them all up.

            I ran CCleaner and still having a ton of issues with IE8... I have a support ticket in hope they can help. I logged in once using IE - don't remember how I did it or whatnot. But now I can't do it at all again

              am I really the only person with this problem right now? I can't login to my boards AT ALL using IE, but it seems okay in Chrome (most of the time). It's so bizarre I don't know what to do. Support still hasn't gotten back to me

                            im having the same problem, and I found a temporary way around the problem. The way ive found is to instantly click on the forum tab in the nav bar, after being returned to the CMS. This then seems to sign me in, although i don't know if this will work for anyone else.

                              Andy, it might help someone if they knew your browser, win ver etc?? maybe?
