This troubled me since the first beta and I am determined to solve it now that I am getting gold squared away. Here it is.
My header_background will be tan so now the toplinks_link_color has to be changed from the default white to something darker that can be seen on a tan background. No problem so far. When logged in your "My Profile", "Settings", and "Log Out" links are blue on a tan background. Works fine.
The problem comes when logged out. Now your toplinks change to "Register" and "Help" and they have a background color that is controlled by navbar_tab_background. That background color needs to remain dark so your navbar links can be seen. Therefore I am stuck without being able to use a light color header background.
My question - What is the best way to use a light color header background and have toplinks that show up when logged in or out? See attached thumbs and thanks for any help.
If this should have been in vBulletin Templates, Graphics & Styles then my apologies.
