VB 4.0 Moderator CP

I have a Question I'm a moderator on a VB forum!
The Admin is going to update to 4.0 when ever it comes out and I can't wait

I want to know will the Moderator CP look different
and how will Infractions and moderator tools change!

Also Does anyone know if VB 4.0 will come out this Month?

vBulletin beta coming this mid-November.

Shout boxes usually require a third party plug in.

The admin and mod cp's won't be much different for 4.0, but will start changing in future 4.x versions (4.1, 4.1, etc.). But we don't know which future version it will be.

How Long will the beta last for
When will the offical VB 4.0 come out?

Nobody knows. As long as it takes for the test team and developers to work out the bugs. Since we're only at the first beta (this website only), it could take 3 or 4 more, which could take two or three months.

,but when the admin downloads the beta can he keep the beta up into it officially released or is there an expiring time the admins can keep the beta?

I think I read somewhere they are trying to release the full CMS and forum before 2010.

Once you've bought a license you can keep whatever version of the software you want, for as long as the license allows. But really you would want to upgrade to the gold release when it becomes available.

If it's released before 2010 that would be wonderful. I have yet to see a vBulletin version be released when they said it would be, though.
