Try refreshing and seeing if it carries on...to be honest I get this during most 4.x upgrades and it just carries on if I refresh.

This is an install, not an upgrade?

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

know -.- thats the problem. Everytime i got to /install/install.php it keeps comming: Unexpected Text: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?>
random times. somtimes on first 7 steps sometimes on blog & sometimes on cms. CMS is the latest time it comes. I can't get passed without recieving the error!

          - - - Updated - - -

          When I go to /admincp
          this shows up: Security Alert!

install.php still remains in the /install/ directory.

This poses a security risk, so please delete that file immediately. You cannot access the control panel until you do so.
