Why are you trying to delete the CMS ?

If you dont want to use it, just disable it.

Only fix that I know is to put in a support ticket to the vbulletin team. If you try to reinstall the CMS at this stage it will skip all the steps and still wont work.

Maybe it's just me but I ran into this problem when I clicked on NO in the upgrade when it asked me "Do you want to install the default CMS data?" In my test install I clicked on YES to this question and the CMS worked fine with all the default articles. So in my proper site upgrade I clicked no because I didn't want to have all the default articles. Turns out the CMS default data is not the default articles but the entire CMS itself. I think a better wording in the vbulletin installer would be "Do you want to install the CMS?"

Be aware! If you have the CMS as the main default page to your site and then you go to uninstal it and get this CMS uninstall database error it will completely break your site with a "Database error" when you go to your main URL! Go back into the add on manager and disable the CMS to get your site working properly again.

The wording is correct, your assertion is not. All that installs is the default data. As I said before, why are you deleting the CMS in the first place ? if for some reason you dont intend you have it active at all, just disabled it, otherwise it will be re-installed anyway the next time you run the upgrader.

widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
