[Forum] Insert Image into thread

Hi,

I am facing a small problem, after inserting image into thread/post the image get attached and shown below the post as a thumbnail, I want to insert image into post, don't want attach it.

When you create your post, you attach your image(s) by 'Manage attachments' button. Then, you put the insertion where you want your image into your message and click onto the attachment buttons into the editor (the little attach) ; you obtain the list of your images, click onto one and it is inserted in your post.

If you just want it to use [img] tags and not attach the image at all, uncheck "Retrieve remote file and reference locally".

Thanks for the reply, let me clear the problem step by step so that it become easy to know the exact problem.

1) After clicking on the insert image a pop window get opened.
2) Then I select the file path and upload the image.
3) The

[ATTACH]18[/ATTACH]

is showing in the thread.
4) I am not able to do anything with the image like I can't resize it, can't change the location etc.



How this pop will come.

Hi,

I don't want to show image from any URL, i want to upload images.

And no option ""Retrieve remote file and reference locally" is available while uploading the image.

I actually have the same problem

The problem is that when I insert an image inline it shows the BBCode instead of showing the actual image. Therefore nothing to click on to get the image settings up. Im sure this is a setting somewhere but cant seem to find it.

Found it .... In vbulletin options, change maxamum images to posts. Dont have it set at 0, the description is quite misleading by the looks of it.

Works a treat though guys, well done.

In one of my forum I can easily insert images but in http://howmobile.net I am not able to insert images.

Can you describe your problem better? How can't you insert images? What happens when you try?

After clicking on the insert image

this window get open

After uploading the image then



instead of image

[ATTACH] 18 [ / ATTACH] will come.

Have you tried changing the editor mode? Does this happen to just you, or are other users having the same issue?
