Is the screen shot provided of a user who has moderator/supermoderator permissions? Is that style unmodified with no addons? -

Regular moderator? Assigned to a specific forum?
Super moderators/admins should see inline moderation.Comment

I would suggest reuploading the files, and re-checking your personal permissions: AdminCP > Forums & Moderators > Show all Moderators.Comment

I ask because I used to be able to do it before I upgraded to 4xComment

Would you guys be able to explain a bit more,
This is the first time I have heard the term multicontent search.
Before my upgrade I was running 3.7.0 and was a forum
I could search my whole forum and it would display results from all the forums.
I will give you an example.
I have 3 forums, Titled
Friends
Strangers
Public
If i searched the a Name like 'Corby'
It would display results from all my 3 forums
If I got 2 results, one result was from
'Friends' forum - titled 'Corby family'
and
'Public Forum - titled 'Corby in the public'
I could do a inline moderation where I could select both search results and have several options,
For this example I select both threads and select 'Merge' then click 'OK' and it would give me an option for what forum I wanted them to merge into (i choose 'Friends' forum, then the result would be, both threads would merge into the thread titled 'Corby family' the second post in this thread would be 'Corby in the public'
So I have merged a thread into another in the same forum
Does this make sense to you? I need a bit more explanation than a few words if possable
Is multicontent, content from cms, blog and forum? or multicontent is from content from other forums?
I still have an old forum and this is a screenshot of the results page with multi forums
