    [Forum] CKeditor problems vb4.1.10



    We recently upgraded to version 4.1.10 from 4.0.7.

    After the upgrade the CKeditor doesn't show anymore. It is present in the coding for the Quick Edit, but the issue is the size of the box. It has a width:0 min-width:0 in the inline style css for it.

    I've tried searching for where to change it, but have come up empty handed.

    Also the ckeditor toolbar is missing from the New Post/New Thread.



    I've searched and can't find anything for it. I've checked & made sure the sprite.png is uploaded to the images/editor folder.
    I've disabled all the plugins, re-uploaded all of the files for the 4.1.10 install.

    We are using the default theme.

    What are the Mobile Style detection options set to in:

    AdminCP > Settings > Options > Style & Language Settings

    Unless you're using a specific Mobile Style they should be set to None.

    - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)

        In your profile settings, what editor are you set to use?
        Vote for:

            35 hours & no response. Well this can't be good for support.

                Technically speaking, you have no entitlement to support as you don't have a licence. The help given so far is out of courtesy.

                If you want full support, you would need to get the licence holder to add your forum account to their licence. then you will have the ability to post in the correct support forums.

                Even then for urgent support you would raise a ticket, there is no guarantee of a response via the forums.

                And - frankly - your attitude isn't helping.

                  Technically speaking, you are wrong. This account has been add the license to their account. I copy & pasted the OP from my account which didn't have access. This is the clients account with the registered vB license. That's how I'm able to post here in this support forum.

                  I've clearly stated what the issue is, and responded in a timely manner to Trevor's question. It shouldn't take over 50 hours to get a response back.

                  About my attitude, I clearly waited 35 hours before I said anything else. If it takes that long to find a solution, at least a quick post about "We will look into it" would be just fine. I'm not even asking for much other than a response that they have read my reply & are looking into something else. I have a right to be frustrated with the now 48+ hours of response time from the Support members. As if nothing is said today, it will be at least another 24hours because they are closed tomorrow due to the holiday.

                    Here is another *bump* for this thread. It's been 34.5 hours since the last one.

                    How is the progress coming along on this?
                    I just want to know where I can edit the ckeditor template to remove the width:0px inline style so my client can use the quick editor again.
