[Forum] Human Verification not showing anywhere:

I have tried enabling both Image based human verification and setting up reCaptcha with keys. Neither of which will show during user registration. I've checked to ensure the proper boxes are checked in Admin CP> Options> Human Verification, and ensuring the "disabled" radio button is not selected in Admin CP>Settings>Human Verification.

We need to get this working or we'll get hammered with spammers.

Additionally where is the option to require email verification to complete registration?

    Thanks! We're loving your product!

We've found out the reason the human verification is showing for some of our users and not for others is due to the facebook being signed in.

Apparently if you're signed in to facebook during our registration the human ver. doesnt even load. How can I change this?

This issue is allowing spammers to get past our human verification and post offensive material every day. Do we need to remove the facebook feature to have a spam free vBulletin board?

turn off the quick registration feature for Facebook and it will simply redirect them to your registration form with some of the information filled in.

We're still having the same issue, if the user who is attempting to register is ALREADY signed in to facebook, no human verification is shown on the registration page. NONE. No matter what kind we have enabled.

I need a vBulletin employee to reply to this please to verify that there is really no way to stop the social plug-in from disabling human verification. Thank you.

Wayne Luke is this "quick registration" setting in facebook or in the vBulletin ACP? Can't find it.

You're not using a standard form of Human Verification that is distributed with vBulletin. Could be your addon doesn't account for the Facebook Connect.

Yes, right now we have a KeyCaptcha plug-in enabled. However, I've had this issue tested with reCAPTCHA, Question & Answer Verification, and Image Verification; by multiple testers.

If the user is pre-logged in to their Facebook account no human verification is shown at registration. This looks to me like a major security flaw in the Facebook plug-in.

The Location, Interests, Occupation, E-Mail, and User Name fields are auto-filled also.

Looking at the code, you're right. If they are logged into Facebook, it bypasses human verification. If you're getting spammed through this, then I recommend putting them in a moderated secondary usergroup.

The fields you mentioned at options at the bottom of the Facebook Options page.
