    sql database error and links changed to red?

    I changed nothing and all of a suddent kept etting hundreds of sql emails.. Oddly enough half of the links on my vbulletin site changed to RED... ?

    Database error in vBulletin 3.8.1:

    Invalid SQL:
    SELECT * FROM datastore WHERE title='pluginlist';

    I tried to repair tables from whm, i optimized tables from vbulletin..

    Datastore IS listed in phpmyadmin .. not sure my next step?

    I vaguely remember something about errors like this happening when the datastore becomes corrupt. I think (emphasis on think) this was resolved by renaming the datastore, then uploading and using tools.php to rebuild it. Maybe some of this info will help you find your answer or hopefully someone else can chime in. Definitely don't just do this, as I'm basing this off an old memory, and I don't remember what I ate for lunch.

          ok that's really odd, especially that your links just turned red.

          Your getting the same error.. ?

          What if i uploaded the tools and rebuild the datastore?

                Looks like a hack.

                I can't read whatever language that is, but it looks like it's using an exploit to load a php shell file.

                          I had VBSEo at one point but I had disabled it a wihle ago. Where do I find the VBSeo install folder, it's not in the root of my forum install

                            What did you do, just edit that code? I did that yesterday already, but this problem happened just now

                              Yeah I'm still stumped. THere are some remnant vBSEO files laying around but i don't even have the root /VBSEO folder any longer.
