[Forum] Facebook fconnect does not work complete check (it will help a lot)

A lot of people are stuck on the fconnect button on vbulletin.

I'm too so i decide to made a lot of test so you can do the same and try to figure out what's the problem.

    Vbulletin version: 4.1.10 suite

    I try with Chrome:
    - clean all the coockies
    - disable any particular javascript (my personal adds)
    - not logged to facebook (coockies also cleaned)
    - From CMS the fconnect button does not work (nothing happen when clicked)
    - Same for Forum
    - it work form the blog list (i did not check the other part of the blogs such as blog entry)
    - it work from What's new
    - it work form registration page (both buttons)
    - Work from calendar
    - Work from social groups
    - work from connected users list

Same for safari and Firefox on mac osx

So, why from the most important pages (forum and CMS) it does not work?

Edit: even if i put offline the forum the fconnect work
Edit: even with the vbseo off the fconnect does not work

After the ticket from the assistance:

    - I downloaded and overwrite alla the vbulletin files as requested
    - none of the vbulletin files has unexepected contents.
    - I disabled all the product /plugin except than blog and cms and renamed the htaccess.
    - Created a new style with no parent style..
    this is the result:
Expected: Click on FConnect button and appear the connection windows or log directly with the facebook profile

    Chrome
Page --------Connected to FB --------- Not Connected to FB
    CMS -------- don't work ----------------- don't work
    FORUM ------- don't work ---------------- don't work
    Blogs -------- WORK ------------------- WORK
Whats New ----- WORK ------------------ WORK
    Registration ----- WORK --------------- WORK

    Same for firefox and Safari

Any of the users can test the same ??

ok, so, with the help of Lynne we found a solution.

On my CMS i have a html widget that show the facebook fan page.
i create that by copy and paste from the facebook developers widgets...
It seems that the html provided form facebook contains some html problem that invalidate the fconnect so the button became useless.

the same thing I had as forum block, so by taking off the "facebook fan page widget" and the "facebook fan page wall widget" i was able to use the fconnect button.

I think this thread contains a check that should be part of the troubleshooting for the vbulletin.

Thank you again to Lynne Sands for the precious support.
