The place to ask for help writing custom code would be over on vbulletin.org, the modification site.
(At one time I had posted an outline for writing your own cron job, so do search over there first.)
Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

I put one up on vbulletin.org a while back but have since disabled it on my site due to improved cache operations in the cms.Comment

I don't think it is no longer needed for 4.1.10.Comment

I thought so too. But I've noticed that I have to manually Clear System Cache to update the replies displayed in the CMS articles. When I promote a thread to an article, it will display the number of comments. But if someone posts a comment through the original thread, the comment doesn't display in the article view. It does, however, update the number of comments.

However, from memory I believe the changes for VBIV-952 will actually change that, so the relevant comments cache is expired on a reply to the associated thread.Baby, I was born this wayComment

Basically the articles on the front page (short versions) are up dating fine, but the version you see when you click read more to view it in full with the comments also is not updating and is needing me to clear system cache myself via admin cp.Comment
