[Forum] Attachment Pop UP OK for Users, not for admins

    Hi all;
the attachment POP UP in the rapid reply section appears like this for the admins:

Name:	admin.png
Views:	1
Size:	22.0 KB
ID:	3722518

while it's like this for common users

Name:	users.png
Views:	1
Size:	26.2 KB
ID:	3722519

I'd like it to be as the latter for the admins as well.

Any idea why they are different and how to have the same pop up for both admins and users?

    Thank you!

Please wait 24 hours before bumping threads as per the forum rules.

Are the individual user account's settings set to use exactly the same interface etc?

Yes, they are. Thank you for your reply. Seems like the admin are using the basic uploader instead of the advanced one. I haven't found a way to revert back to the advanced yet. Even deleting cookies did not work.

Is this in a default style or a custom one? When did this start happening, immediately after a particular upgrade or any other 'event'?

It is the default style. Don't know when it started as I had the attachments disabled since two days ago…

What browser are you using? What browser are they using?

Safari, Firefox, Chrome… it doesn't really matter. If you choose a browser and log in as a regular user or as an admin the pop up is different.

What editor is the administrator account using? Settings (top of the page) > General Settings >

Make sure you're using the advanced or wisywigy editor.

I'm using the WISYWIGY editor. While I was checking I noticed that at the bottom of the page I had the advanced attachments upload disabled. It was just a matter of turning that on. Now I'm wondering why it was disabled for the admins…

                    Anyway thanks for your time!

if you created the user in the admincp, or if it was the first administrator, it may have slightly differenet settings than normal users.

I think that affected the users which I imported from phpBB… anyway I ran a query from the db to enable that for everybody.

                        Thanks again!
