[CMS] How to make HOME the main opening page

Ok, i'ved looked and tried many options but none works fine.....must be doing something wrong here!
I have everything installed in the root and would like the CMS page to open first instead of the forum but i have no clue on where to start for this....never used the CMS before

Do i have to edit the index.php only or do i have to add something else somewhere and how?

So, what is the easiest way of putting the CMS in main opening page.....be gentle, i'm french lolll

check your forum.php and index.php
the instructions are in there

it would be great if this was mentioned in the /docs/ but I'm not sure it is..
