vB3.8.7 PL 1 + MAPI 1.2 - Could not find phrase 'invalid_redirect_url_x'

Hi there,

I have vB 3.8.7 Patch Level 1 with Mobile API (vBulletin API 1.2) installed. I received the message from vB to patch my site to 3.8.7 Patch Level 2. So I downloaded vb_patch387mapi_xxxxxxxx.zip and patched the following files:

{vb_root}/includes/class_core.php
{vb_root}/includes/functions.php
{vb_root}/includes/version_vbulletin.php
{vb_root}/install/vbulletin-adminhelp.xml
{vb_root}/install/vbulletin-language.xml
{vb_root}/install/vbulletin-settings.xml

when I say *patched* I mean I over-wrote the files. Now, users are complaining that whenever they logged in from forum home page, they're getting the following error message;

Could not find phrase 'invalid_redirect_url_x'

Please let me know what is the best approach to diagnose the issue and solve it.

You're accessing your website from the incorrect url and trying to login from it.

if your forum url is set to www.domain.com make sure that is the url you login to, if your forum url is set tot domain.com make sure you login to that domain. The www vs non www is very important as far as cookies go.

I just added:

RewriteEngine On

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.mydomain\.org [NC]
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.mydomain.org/$1 [L,R=301] 

to .htaccess file.

Also, I notice that 'invalid_redirect_url_x' was missing in my phrases. So I went in to admincp and Languages & Phrases -> Download / Upload Languages -> Import Language XML File -> Imported ./install/vbulletin-language.xml.

Now, I can see 'invalid_redirect_url_x' in place.
