logout problem "Version 3.8.4"

In the forum i'm clicking the button to logout, the page which contains the text "All cookies have been deleted, click here to return.." is shown but when i come back homepage there is nothing. I mean it's like i didnt logout. my username is on top...

If i reflesh the page, that time i become visitor..

If you allow users to login to your site via both http://www.yoursite.com and just yoursite.com., then you MUST have your cookie domain (vboptions > cookies > cookie domain) set to ".yoursite.com" (no quotes, but note the period at the beginning) or your users will have problems. What do you have your cookie domain set to? And what is your site url? And do you have an .htaccess file for your site?

Try commenting out the caching you have there (all the stuff on the bottom of the .htaccess file) and see if you still have the same problem.

Honestly this sounds like your browser is just showing you a cache of the page from when you were logged in. Refreshing the page causes it to show you the correct page. Can you try this with a different browser?

Got it.. In firefox there is no problem.. It doesnt make sense, before there was no problem with Chrome.. :S

You can try cleaning your Chrome cache, see if it helps. But the important thing is you are really logged out whether it shows it or not.

Yep i did it but it doesnt help.

In other vbulletin forums there is no problem with Chrome, now i tested another vbulletin forum..

Also there is a problem with IE. I log in, i can see redirect page but after that the same homepage as visitor. When i refresh the page everything seems ok.

We asked you to comment out part of your htaccess file. I want to see the htaccess file with the stuff either commented out or removed. I want to be able to see that you did it correctly.

You did not comment out the caching like we asked you to. Please comment out, or remove, everything between ## EXPIRES CACHING ## and ## EXPIRES CACHING ##. If it doesn't work after you have done so, please post the .htaccess again, with the code removed or commented out. And please use the code tags.
