    Ads

How are the ads setup? Will adsense work here or does it have to be in-house advertisers?

It's space for arbitrary code. So - you best bet is AdSense, but you can put pretty much anything your heart desires. You can also just add additional links to your site, like a 300x250 menu, etc. Its really flexible.

      Thanks Anders.

So we can put in any HTML/Script that we want? For example our Google DFP code?

            What's wrong with 4.1.7? It's glorious.

Since I'm already that far behind I see no point in spending a lot of time upgrading to 4.1.7 only to have to do it again in a few weeks/month. Plus 4.1.8 has a few more editor bugs I'd like fixed first.

BTW I never said there was anything wrong with 4.1.7, it's more of a timing thing.

Adsense is not allowed within canvas nor is your own ads. Using Adsense can lead to your canvas address being banned and
even your Facebook account tied to the canvas suspended.

List of allowed companies can be found here - https://developers.facebook.com/adproviders/

I use Lifestreet.com and highly recommend them for your canvas ads.

Can't say that I'm surprised about Adsense not being allowed in app, however where does it state that in-house ads can't be used?

So not even vbulletin knows that it is not allowed, or am I wrong here??
