[CMS] Unregistered users cannot view cms home page

When viewing my front page, unregistered users are getting a permission denied message.

The only "solution" I've been able to find so far was mentioned in this thread, that of giving unregistered users the ability to post. That works, but obviously that's not the correct solution and I was hoping someone would have a better one. Any new information on this?

I have attached a screenshot of my cms permissions.

Also worth noting is that I made sure all posts in my CMS are published.

    Thanks in advance

Your permissions look correct and they should be able to view.

Is your vBulletin site accessible via the internet at this time?
Is it turned on under Settings -> Options -> Turn your Forums On/Off?

It is accessible via the internet at this time. However, it is a customer dev site that has production data, so I am not free to share the information at this time.

The forums are on and other pages on the site (the forum pages) work just fine.

Did you import the default CMS data? If not, hover over the front section name on the page. Should be labeled as "Home". A small pencil icon should appear. Click on it to edit the section. Make sure the section is published using the options on the right. Repeat for any other sections.

All the default content appears to be there, assuming my understanding is correct. For example, there are articles with the titles "Welcome to the new CMS. Read me first." and "Managing CMS Section and Content".

When I go to the admin tool > vBulletin CMS > Content Manager, everything is listed as published. See attached image.

Edit the Home Section and make sure "Show on Section Widget" is set to Yes.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

What twisted-mind coder thought "Show on Section Widget" should control that in the way it does?

Any chance you can walk me through getting to this setting?

Same method as detailed in post #4. Hover over the section name, click the pencil that appears.

Is there a way to get to the setting from the admincp? There's other issues I'm having that prevent me from accessing the edit ability from the main page.

Unfortunately no. You can try going to the edit page directly using a URL like:

                        yourdomain.com/content.php/XX-Section/edit
