Updates to Mobile Apps, App Builder and vB3 Mobile plugin

    Everyone,

We have just released version 1.2.0 of our Mobile API's for vB3 websites that use our Mobile Suite. This plugin is available to all Mobile Suite customers in the Members area: http://members.vbulletin.com
These changes are to rectify a few outstanding bugs, as well as to support new and upcoming functionality in the mobile applications, and we strongly recommend you to update the plugin to the latest version if you run a vB3 based site.

We have also released version 1.1.2 of both our iOS and our Android mobile applications.
    This includes:
Support for Google Analytics, HTTPS, thread prefixes, and a bunch of bug fixes. Further details on what is in it can be found here.

In addition to this, we have updated our Mobile App builder in the Members area. This enables support for Google Analytics, transparent images can now be used for icons and enabling Https to work.

    How to upgrade?
If you have purchased a Mobile Suite, we would encourage you to re-compile your application in your members area - adding in your Google Analytics account details if relevant and submit the applications to their respective iTunes/Android stores. If you are running vB3, please download the latest plugin from the Members area and update it on your website first. If you are running vB4, you will need to ensure your website is running at least 4.1.3 first.

We would welcome feedback on these changes here.

    Thanks,
    Adrian

Just to update, if you are running vB3, follow this procedure.

Install the updated plugin first before compiling the new applications.
Download the new package from m.vbulletin.com ; overwrite the patched files, overwrite the api files; install new product
DO NOT UNINSTALL the existing vb api product3.

Doing this will ensure you don't create a new API key
