Code to Bypass Custom Plug-ins and Products
For those of you who are familiar with writing products and customizations for vBulletin, you can bypass plugin code to fix alot of API issues. The bypass condition is as follows:

vBulletin 4.0+ Mobile API Troubleshooting
- Make sure the Mobile API is enabled and an API Key has been generated.
- Try using both of the DEMO Applications for iPhone and Android to test functionality and connectivity of the APP to your site. (Instructions for Demo tests are HERE)
- Unexpected issues? Connection problems? Some functions do not work in the App? Please go into your product manager and disable ALL products Re-Test to see if the issues have been resolved by disabling all products.
- If you are confused about steps #3 and #4 you will have to create a Support Ticket in your members area (http://members.vbulletin.com) and a member of our staff will help you.

- Make sure you've uploaded the entire Mobile Product file package correctly, installed the mobile API product XML file, enabled the API and generated an API Key.
- Try using both of the DEMO Applications for iPhone and Android to test functionality and connectivity of the APP to your site. (Instructions for Demo tests are HERE)
- Unexpected issues? Connection problems? Some functions do not work in the App? Please go into your product manager and disable ALL products except the vBulletin Mobile API. Re-Test to see if the issues have been resolved by disabling all products except the Mobile API.
- If disabling products in step #3 helped fix the problems, you will need to find the exact product or plugin causing the issue. You can try disabling one product at a time to figure out which one is causing the faults.
