Has anyone got experience of downloading "tapatalk" to their site ? if yes please can you advise on its effects, Ta.

I've had it installed for over a year now and its worked great. The installation was a cinch, and my members love it for use on their androids/iphones/etc.

It really is easy to install. It can be glitchy on my Droid getting stuck loading pages. Hitting the back button fixes that.

The real question for me at this stage is whether to keep tapatalk switched if I have the mobile suite installed.

Update, after a lot of reading on the net I have decided it would be quite a bad move to install Tapatalk, others who have done it complain of being taken over by spurious and very annoying ad ons which even site owners cannot remove, this information is on the Tapatalk forum itself.

I installed this on my vbulletin site today and this ("Sent from ...") is driving everyone nuts. We need a way to turn it off.

You can turn sent from off in tapatalk app preferences I think.

Just want to clarify - you can actually disable it regardless of the app settings. Recently we have added a way to disable it from the server-side:



This featue will be in effective as soon as Apple approved our app (a week from now).
