[Forum] Chrome and Safari compatibility- how long before WYSIWYG ?

How long before the WYSIWYG editor works in chrome and safari? Will it be included in the next release or has this implementation been abandoned, I am waiting for this to be available so we can further develop our site.

That is going to be part of the new editor. There is no estimated timing on this but it is being QA'd.

Is there a way to demo the new editor? A lot of my users (and myself!) use Chrome or Safari. I would just do what I need with images in code, but that's not an option, so I have to open Firefox to insert images in my CMS or forum posts if I want them to look like anything. Since I so a lot of work on the road, this is even worse since my iPad/iPhone can't do it at all.

This is not available yet. Sometime after it gets past QA and we are closer to a release date, it will available on this site.
