By putting the content in a subsection where "read" access is denied to unregistered users, then checking the "permission preview" box.Please- I'm not tech support. Don't send your problem reports to me unless I've asked you to. -
Okay, so:
Admin CP - CMS - Permissions - Disable 'can read' for unregistered users, then in create article, enable permission preview...correct?
When I do this the complete 'home' tab is gone and the cms page can not be seen by guests / unregistered users
Just to clarify: I want guest / unregistered users to be able to see the home / cms page obviously and be able to preview or see the first few lines of an article but when they click on 'read more' to see complete article they get a message that indicates they must be a registered user to view.
Thanks Edwin!Comment

Sorry for not being clear. Permissions are based on sections. What you do is put the articles you want to hide in a section and set the limited permissions on that section. Open the permissions wide on the home section, and use the preview settings per above.Please- I'm not tech support. Don't send your problem reports to me unless I've asked you to.Comment
