Help with 3.8 install problem.

I check for this problem and did not see it on the forum.
I sights are hosted on godaddy .com and I have been using vBulletin for several years with out problems. I shut down the site (Page) that I had.
Now I want to start something new so I purchased the vB 4 and downloaded the vB3.8 to use until the final version is out.
I changed all the information that I needed in the config & changed the name to config.php. All the contents of the upload file have been uploaded to a folder on my domain /vbulletin/
I entered www.rvforum.info/vbulletin/install/install.php in the browser and get the “Please enter customer number” window.
I enter the customer number and get the message below.
Customer number entered successfully Redirecting.
Instead of direction me to the next screen to continue the install I get redirected to the same “Please enter customer number” window.”
Any help would be appreciated.

The only reasons the customer number won't work are:

1. You are not using the correct number (don't use the license number.)

2. You are not using the correct files for the license under that account.

3. You are blocking cookies.

I an using the account number.
i cleared all files and re-downloaded the files listed by my most recent purchase, and i do not have cookies blocked.

The same thing is still happening.

Do you have more than one license?

Also try going to the Members area and find this line at the top of the page:

Welcome to the vBulletin Members' Area. Your customer number is XXXXXXXXXXXX.

Copy and paste that number in from there.

I made a purchase several years ago and then another a few day ago. i am downloading from the most recent selection. All I have is one Customer number.

The information i am using is highlighted below.

the download that i am using is from the most recent purchase.

Raise a support ticket giving details of the license number you're using and the install path and let the team have a look at this.
