    How to remove Posting Rules

    ...at the SHOWTHREAD template?

I read similar threads but the solutions don't seem to work on this version.

Also, at the FORUMDISPLAY template I wish to remove the same thing, along the display options, currently active users and post status icons. No need to remove forum jump since I deactivated it via admincp.

    Thanks for your time.

Delete the contents of the forumrules template.

Edit: Nevermind, just checked forumrules was one of the affected templates. Thanks for the quick answer.

vBulletin has a lot of useless info. I've removed tons of useless/redundant stuff, and the board looks much better. Much more easier to navigate and more pleasing to the eye.

Now I need a little help doing the second step.

Also, at the FORUMDISPLAY template I wish to remove the same thing, along the display options, currently active users and post status icons. No need to remove forum jump since I deactivated it via admincp.

I believe Post Status Icons are set via forum permissions.

Forum Manager -- > Edit Forum --> Enable / Disable Features --> Allow Post Icons

Does this "Forum Display Options (forumdisplay)"
Enabling this option will show the current users browsing a particular forum on forumdisplay.php while adding one query. This can have an effect on performance. The Alphabetical option requires more resources than the random option.

Set to "No" not accomplish what you need?

I find it interesting that if a vB user does not want to use a particular feature, they are "useless features", when in fact, they are only a feature YOU do not want to use. Other people love them.

It's better to have it and not use it than it is to not have it when you want it.

You could just revert it if you wanted it back. Your method works, too though.
