upgrade to 3.0.1: modcp link disappeared

Hi all,

I have a successful upgrade from 3.0.0 to 3.0.1 except that now my forum's mods notice that they dont see the link to modcp (at the bottom right, next to archive) anymore. I still see those links as an admin.

Any help would be appreciated.

The link was removed so only SMods can see it (because it requires one extra query).

If you need it changed, open up your footer template and find:

<if condition="$show['modcplink']"><a href="$modcpdir/index.php?$session[sessionurl]">$vbphrase[mod]</a> -</if>

And change it to:

<if condition="can_moderate()"><a href="$modcpdir/index.php?$session[sessionurl]">$vbphrase[mod]</a> -</if>
