    birthday error in vb 2.2.8 and 2.2.9

    change your birthday to Sept 5 1968 and then look at your profile

    it will be dec 31, 1969

    it dont show up in the calendar but does in the persons profile

    I can't duplicate this problem on my unhacked 2.2.9 test forum.

      it happens on my unhacked test forum also, i know of two others with this same issue too.

      we all host with VO, not sure if thats a component or not

              Towngirl, what problem exactly? What specifically are you doing and what happens?

              Also please provide URL to affected member info pages and your phpinfo.php page as well.

                All the birthdays before 1970 is also wrong.

                How can this be corrected?

                  Open up your member.php file.

                  Find the line:
                  $birthday = @date($calformat1,mktime(0,0,0,$bday[1],$bday[2],$bday[0]));

                  Change it to:
                  $birthday = @date($calformat2,mktime(0,0,0,$bday[1],$bday[2])). ", $bday[0]";

                  This usually happens when your server doesn't support negative timestamps (times before Jan 1, 1970)

                    Gustav, you are having many more issues than just this. Please stick to one thread so we can work them all out. It's difficult to try to solve so many different issues piecemeal like this.

                            yes that members.php fix, resolves the problem, but we are all on venturesonline, what can we do to support negative timestamps ? im on a dedicated server
