    Images getting chopped off...

    Currently running 361, with attachments in the file system, imported from 351 into 361 clean build.

    When viewing some images in file system on server, they are intact and full images. Behaviour appears random.

    When called by vbulletin, images either hang before completion, or complete but are cut off short.

    Any suggestions as to what might be causing this.

    Regards

    Chris

    Edit your /includes/config.php file and add these two lines under the <?php line:

    ini_set('memory_limit', 32 * 1024 * 1024);
    ini_set("max_execution_time", "240");
    Best Regards

      sorry, didn't work.

      here's an example of one of the images, when it's copied to the desktop you can see the damaged area, this does not display and is cut off in the browser...

              Please wait at least 12 hours before bumping your posts.

              From the forum rules:

              Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts. For style changes and general 'how-to' questions this should be 24 hours. For specific troubleshooting issues, use 12 hours as a guideline.
              First, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file.

              Next, disable all plugins.

              Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

              define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

              Then if you still have this problem, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

                Sorry about that.

                I have done exactly as you said, and the problem is still there.

                Regards

                      What's supposed to be wrong with that image?

                        Heres another to show you, straight out of the file system...

                        and this is what it lloks like called from vbulletin...

                        You should be able to see that the bottom is chopped off.

                        Regards

                          Nope. It looks exactly that same as in your post. I don't see any cut-off.

                            Steve, the images are not the same. The bottom is cut off the one presented by vbulletin.

                            Here they are side by side in photoshop. They are aligned exactly at the top. One is clearly shorter than the other.

                            Regards

                              Ok, I see what you mean. However if this really is happening with all the original vB code and templates, then it has to be a server issue. Unfortunately I don't have any idea what this would be. Perhaps someone else will know.
