No vB Lite?

Why was vB Lite withdrawn?
Before I purchased my 1st license I found it a valuable resource in checking the compatibility with my host and in generally getting a feel of the whole vB experience.

It was removed because it was no longer an accurate method of determining server compatibility for the full version and it was a poor example of what vB was capable of.

vB Lite would fail with many newer versions of PHP and MySQL that vB had no problem with. Since then we decided to throws our programming resources against vB 3.0 rather than spending them on fixing vB Lite.

Is there any chance it will be reintroduced in the future after 3.0 comes out?

Its not all that difficult to make a forum like vBulletin Lite, its making a forum like vB2 that is hard.

Yeah, a simple forum that doesnt have a user database is pretty easy to make :P
