UBB 6.2 move to vB

Hi there,

I'm a member of a UBB board which became veeery buggy by the time.
They are on UBB 6.2.1.1 and many other members aren't happy with the board (~6000 members/ ~100.000 posts).

I suggested to move to vB, simply because it is the better choice.

Only problem is, that they are afraid of their existing members, forums, postings and PMs.
Does the current importer work for all this stuff?
Can you provide help during the move as e.g. with an ezboard move if something goes wrong?

Can I mail the URL to a support staff member to have a look at the forum?

You're right - it does!

I'm sure the import script will take care of existing members, forums, and postings. I believe it will also handle PMs as well. As long as the UBB forum is not hacked, there should be no problems importing to vB. Send an email to [email protected] with any other specific questions you may have.
